Our April newsletter offers diversity just like PAN Parks does. From the conservation perspective wilderness areas provide for great species diversity and wilderness management is a tool that could provide essential contribution to biodiversity protection. Exploring PAN Parks from the tourism point of view, our network offers great variety of wilderness destinations from the Arctic Circle to the Mediterranean, from underwater wilderness to breathtaking mountain peaks. PAN PARKS IN THE EUROPEAN HABITATS FORUM
PAN Parks Foundation has become full member of the European Habitats Forum (EHF) after its application was accepted on 31 March in Brussels. By joining this group PAN Parks will become involved in advising and influencing the development and implementation of nature conservation legislation on European level. ... more

WILDERNESS FOR BIODIVERSITY PROTECTION

BETTER PROTECTION FOR ARCHIPELAGO
Commitments of the high-level event, Baltic Sea Action Summit, and the approval of the water treatment plan for South Western Finland are both expected to contribute to the better protection of the Finnish marine PAN Park, Archipelago. ... more
